Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

    • Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g. Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.), should contact the Agency (State or local) where they applied for benefits.     • To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, (AD-3027) found online at:  Ascr Usda gov/complaint_filing_cust html, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:

    • USDA regulations prohibit the sale of foods of minimal nutritional value and carbonated beverages during meal times in the cafeteria at all school levels.  Therefore, no canned or bottled drinks (except pure water or milk) are allowed in the cafeteria.  Students or their parents are not allowed to bring in foods from outside restaurants until after the last lunch period is over.  Lunch sent in lunch boxes or plain bags with students in the morning are allowed.  All students are encouraged to eat a nutritious meal provided by the school cafeteria and milk is provided to drink with their meals. 
    • Parents may come any time and eat with their child by notifying the school nutrition manager ahead of time to insure enough food will be available.
