6-8 Curriculum

Gilmer County Schools is dedicated to providing students with a solid  academic foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics. In order to prepare students to solve problems in an information rich society, they are challenged to perform at their highest level through the incorporation of meaningful, rigorous instructional activities in all academic areas. 

Along with core classes students are given the opportunity to participate in various connections courses:

Our middle school curriculum focuses on encouraging and helping students to become independent learners while preparing students for success in high school and beyond.
