Dear Gilmer County Schools Parents, Staff and Students,
In response to rapidly increasing numbers of positive Omicron cases among our staff and the potential of a severe Winter weather event early next week, the Gilmer County Schools will transition to virtual learning days for January 18th and 19th, 2022. Assignments will be administered via packets or Google Classrooms and teachers will be available via email communication. If you have any specific questions, please contact your child’s school for more information.
Students and teachers will return to in person classes on Thursday, January 20th, 2022.
All 12 month employees should report on Wednesday January 19th.
